The estate’s flagship wine, the 2002 Vall Llach, is a blend of 50% old vine Carignan, 35% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by lovely aromas of crushed blueberries, minerals, high class smoky oak, and acacia flowers. It possesses medium body, wonderful sweetness, beautiful fruit, and nicely integrated acidity and tannin. Consume it over the next 5-7 years.
