For some reason, I got one lone sample from Marqués de Vargas, the 2014 Reserva, which showed classical proportions and aromas in a somehow-updated style. The palate was medium-bodied, revealing the shortcomings of the vintage in the mid-palate, where it could do with a little more weight. But all in all, it's a notable effort for the year. 200,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2016.
