The 2010 Reserva is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, 5% Garnacha and 10% Others (what you have to say when you use Cabernet Sauvignon) fermented in stainless steel and aged for 20 months in a mixture of French, American and Russian oak barrels. It has an animal nose with notes of leather, animal fur and smoked cured meat, tempera paint and licorice that covers it all. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, and a finish that is a tad dry. 250,000 bottles.
