The 2012 Barbaresco Bordini shows thin lines and an upfront personality. This is a bright and feminine expression with a pretty bouquet of blue flowers, wild berries, dried blueberries and blanched almond. This wine was first produced in 2006 and is one of the newest editions to the Elvio Cogno portfolio. It shows a delicate and elegant approach with silky tannins and cheerful freshness.

Just hinting at flower, cherry, strawberry and mineral flavors, this elegant red is racy, tense and balanced, with terrific length, but will require a few years to reveal all its facets.
