Consistently one of the finest values in white Burgundies, the 2002 Ladoix Les Grechons boasts a mineral, spice, and toast-scented nose. Broad, ample, and fleshy, it is a medium-bodied wine with resiny minerals and spices. Readers enamored with labels should know that I served a couple of older vintages of this wine blind to highly experienced collectors and they were convinced it was Corton-Charlemagne. This satin-textured beauty should be consumed over the next 9 years.
