The structured and delineated 1998 Barolo Giachini exhibits a dark ruby color in addition to aromas of earth, coffee, black cherries, and smoke. Full-bodied, ripe, moderately tannic, and long, it requires 1-2 years of cellaring, and will drink well for 12-15 years.
