Tasted two years after its release, the 2010 Barolo by Piazzo Comm. Armando tastes older than expected. The bouquet shows oxidative signs of licorice, dried fruit, saddle leather and cured meat. The wine sports a medium body and good acidity with subtle astringency on the close. There are notes of raisin and dried prune on the close.
