The 2000 Vino Nobile is a firm ruby/garnet with a warm, almost singed nose of plums, black cherries, tar, and chocolate. Long and powerful on the palate, dense in texture, but at the moment, slightly dry on the finish, it is well made if not as round as the 1999. Drink: 2004-2009.
