The Corton-Charlemagne exhibits aromas of anise, white flowers, and oak spices. This is a lovely, medium-to-full-bodied, and intense wine. It has superb richness, an expressive and powerful minerality, and a delightfully silky texture. While this wine ultimately deserves an excellent score, I was disappointed in its somewhat short finish. Drink it between 2000 and 2006.Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY; (212) 490-9300.
