To be honest, I was expecting a little more from the 1991 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, although it is still an agreeable one, if not a wine quite deserving the Grand Cru signature. It has a mature, compost-tinged nose with dried flowers and dandelion, while the palate is simple and seems a little flat towards the finish. Not offensive, but not particularly memorable either. Drink now. Tasted November 2013.
