The 2007 Ge Red Blend is composed of 61% Syrah, 21% Carmenere, and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, all biodynamically farmed, native yeast fermented, and aged for 18 months in French oak. It sports an exotic nose of toasty oak, underbrush, herbs, a hint of balsamic, and wild berries. Already complex on the palate, it will benefit from another 3-4 years of bottle age and offers a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2022, perhaps longer.
