The 2007 Malleolus is a vineyard selection with vine age ranging from 26-76 years. It was aged for 18 months in French oak. Opaque purple-colored, it sports an aromatic array of pain grille, pencil lead, spice box, black cherry, and blackberry. Supple-textured, elegant yet powerful, with layers of savory fruit, this lengthy effort will benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring and offer prime drinking from 2014 to 2027.
