A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Grenache, and 20% Carignan (only 90%), this wine reveals a deep, opaque purple color in addition to sweet aromas of ripe black raspberry fruit. Full-bodied, with abundant toasty oak, as well as a touch of licorice and prune, this wine, aged in American and French oak casks, is not complex, but chewy, with excellent concentration and purity, and a round, generous, exuberant personality.
