The 2000 Crozes-Hermitage Le Grand Courtil Estate exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to a sweet bouquet of red and black fruits intermixed with licorice, underbrush, dried herbs, and a fresh, spicy, medium-bodied style. It should be consumed over the next 5-6 years. Ferraton’s wines are made under the auspices of Michel Chapoutier and his talented oenologist, Alberic Mazoyer.
