The outstanding 1999 Crozes-Hermitage Le Grand Courtil is showing even better in bottle than it was last year. Dominated by tangy red and black currant fruit, it is well-defined, spicy, beautifully-textured, and, like all these single vineyard reds, bottled with neither fining nor filtration.
