The 2005 Barbera d-Alba is a wonderfully fragrant offering with notes of crushed flowers, spices and raspberries framed by refined, silky tannins. In this vintage it is a smaller-scaled wine than is usually the case, yet this Barbera offers plenty of enjoyment in an elegant, restrained style. Anticipated maturity:2008-2012.
