Cantina del Pino chooses to release its Barbarescos one year later than its peers. The 2014 Barbaresco Albesani is distinguished by a very fine and tightly knit texture that bodes very well for its future aging potential. The wine promises to reward more intensity and elegance as it moves forward in time. But even now, at this young stage in its life, this is an elegant and approachable expression of Nebbiolo. Only 3,000 bottles were made.

Top notes of rose, strawberry, cherry and mint permeate the dense matrix of tannins in this tightly wound red. On the austere side now, with a lingering finish of eucalyptus and menthol.
