Richter's Best Buy of the vintage, the 2013 Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Sp?tlese opens very pure, fresh and complex on the nose, which displays predominantly stony/flinty flavors and is remarkably precise. Demandingly mineral and piquant on the palate that totally absorbs the sweetness of 85 grams, also due to 11.4 grams of residual sugar, this is a juicy and zesty wine with a great terroir expression and great aging potential.

Powerfully crisp and full of vibrant mineral, apple and Bosc pear flavors, with racy acidity. The midpalate echoes with a dry savory herb accent, leading to a complex finish of sage honey and light cream. Very refined.
