This 1992 offering is made in a rich, medium sweet style that faithfully expresses the ripeness and softness of the 1992 vintage. For that reason, it is a wine to drink over the next 3-4 years. That being said, there is a lot of richness and character to this wine. Although it is a Spatlese, it tastes like many other producers' Ausleses. It reveals more complexity in its flowery, honeyed, mineral-scented nose than the 1992 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Spatlese.
