The red 2017 Les Brugueres Negre is a blend of 60% Garnacha with 40% Syrah from the villages of Escaladei and La Morera de Montsant. The varieties were kept separate, and it had a soft fermentation with commercial yeasts and aged in barriques and foudres for seven months before being blended and kept in oak vat for a further three months. It's fruit-driven, juicy and ripe, with a soft texture and polished tannins, very easy and pleasant to drink. 18,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2020.
