The 2015 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Salco is an organic selection of fruit from across the estate's best vineyards. You definitely get the warmth and intensity that is characteristics of this vintage, and the wine shows a very healthy and opulent quality of fruit. Like some of the other important wines from 2015, Salco's texture is loose and open-knit, with some mild grittiness on the tannins. However, the mouthfeel tapers down to a silky and fine finish all said and done.
