The 2007 Solanes (which means “sunny”) is a blend of 45% Carinena, 30% Garnacha, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah/Merlot raised for 14 months in new, second and third fill barrels. It has a simple, almost Cru Bourgeois-like bouquet with fine delineation. It has a slightly coarse entry, but there is plenty of crisp, earthy black fruit with a clean, crisp finish to keep you satisfied. Fine. Drink now-2016.
