Among the Grands Crus, the Echezeaux is the lightest and most perfumed of the Domaine Dujac wines. It is made from a relatively young vineyard, and never seems to have quite the intensity and length of the other Grands Crus. I applaud the 1988's rich, aromatic, berry-scented nose, and soft, supple flavors, but I would want to drink it over the next 5-6 years. All of the Domaine Dujac wines are bottled unfiltered.
