The 1966, while very good, is not up to the 1975 or 1982 quality level. Amber at the edge, with a solid ruby color, the 1966 has a full-intensity, spicy, cedary, rich bouquet, lean, somewhat austere flavors, but a good round, generous finish. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 4/85.
