The Brunate cru always offers a very tight and precise quality of dark, black fruit, and these are especially important attributes in such a difficult vintage: The 2014 growing season saw above average rainfall and below average temperatures. The mid-weight 2014 Barolo Brunate is intense, complete and profound. It shows good meat on these bones, with power at the back and sweet fruit on the close. Only 2,900 bottles were made.
