The 2011 Rejadorada Tinto Roble is pure Tinto de Toro and comes from 15- to 30-year-old vines, then matured in second and third fill oak for six months. It offers pleasant dark plum and black currant aromas on the nose with a subtle earthy note underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with robust tannins and a pinched, soy-tinged finish. It’s fine, although I would prefer the Rosum Joven myself. Drink now.
