Usseglio’s 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a crisp, even racy white that’s made from mostly Clairette mixed with 15% Grenache Blanc and 5% Bourboulenc. It offers notes of underripe pineapple, green citrus and hints of white peach as well as medium-bodied depth and a touch of minerality. It’s a clean, impeccably balanced effort that will be at its best in another six months or so, and will easily drink well for 2-4 years or more.
