The Meursault Charmes has a liquid mineral and orange rind-infused nose. This refined, elegant, silky-textured, highly-defined, yet deeply ripe wine has perfumed and floral flavors in its medium-to-full-bodied character. Its long and delineated finish reveals honeysuckle blossoms for additional complexity. It should be at its best between 2000 and 2005. The score, noted on a range and in parentheses, indicates that the wine was tasted from barrel.
