The 2015 Barbaresco Bordini is a smooth and silky interpretation. The wine holds back, just a tad, in terms of intensity. This is an interesting result considering the general warmth and abundance of this hot vintage. Instead of muscle and volume, you get a more stripped-down and subtle expression with delicate, nuanced flavors that linger long on the palate. Some 5,000 bottles were made.

Bright cherry, currant and tar flavors mark this firm, compact style. Accents of earth and tobacco round out the flavor spectrum as this fades gracefully. Best from 2023 through 2038. 500 cases made, 250 cases imported.??–BS??Region: Italy / Piedmont / Barbaresco Select to Add
