A limited release of 2,000 bottles, the 2017 Barolo Bricco Manzoni draws its fruit from La Morra. Keeping in line with the characteristics of this village, you are indeed treated to softly floral notes of crushed violets and lavender followed by dried fruit, tar and spice. This wine shows a little bit of evolution, while dark fruit ripeness or hot-vintage oxidation gives it a heavier character and a more accessible personality. There is a touch of sweet cherry skin on the close.
