Impressively dark in color and thick in texture, it tastes strongly of oak now, but it's also quite rich and ripe. The fruit has to struggle to get through, though. Offers lovely ripe tannins, with sweet plum and red berry, spicy mocha, fresh coffee and bitter chocolate flavors. A complex wine from a sophisticated winemaker.
