The 2010 Chardonnay Reserve offers notes of warm peaches, apple tart and cashews with hints of ginger, meal and buttered toast. Medium-bodied with a gorgeous creaminess to the texture, it fills the mouth with stone fruit and honey-nut flavors marked by crisp acid, finishing long. Drink it now through 2016+.
I tasted a few of Seresin’s single vineyard 2009 Pinot Noirs again this year, to check how they were developing now that they were entering their drinking window. In short, it is well worth waiting a year after release before readers consider drinking these wines!
