Better though is the 2007 Chardonnay Reserve that has a taut, reserved nose with an agreeable stony, character coming through - this Chardonnay captures the sense of terroir. The palate is medium-bodied, good acidity, some very pure but subtle tropical notes unfurling: dried pineapple, a touch of mango, apricot with a hint of lemongrass right on the finish. Very well balanced and harmonious with great length on the finish. Excellent.
