The 2003 Pago de Carraovejas Reserva, aged 12 months in new French oak, is more muted as well as more tannic than its less expensive sibling, perhaps as a result of vintage conditions. Given that it needs considerable cellaring of at least 3-5 years, it is something of a gamble.Importer: Kysela Pere & Fils, Winchester, VA; tel. (540) 722-9228
