The 2008 St.-Joseph Terres d’Arce possesses surprisingly good fruit as well as abundant minerality, and the Terres d’Arce has blacker fruit, more meat and slightly more smokiness. Both should be consumed over the next 6-8 years. Domaine Michelas St.-Jemms, which is located in Beaume le Michelas, has holdings in St.-Joseph, Cornas and Crozes-Hermitage.
