The more drinkable and heady 2013 Loidana is a fresh and fruit-driven blend of 51% Garnacha and 40% Cari?ena with some 9% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in stainless steel. Then 70% of the wine matured in oak barrels for 14-15 months and the rest was kept in cement vats. There are notes of cherries in liqueur and, despite the fact of having a lot less oak than its siblings, the palate still showed quite a lot of tannin when I was expecting juicier fruit. There are 26,950 bottles produced.

Fresh and focused. Black cherry and red plum flavors mingle with smoke, licorice, leafy and mineral notes in a polished texture, with light, firm tannins and lively acidity. Harmonious and graceful.
