This producer from the village of Treiso has fashioned a very good, dark ruby-colored 1997 Barbaresco Vigna Montersino. Its aromatic profile consists of new saddle leather, berry fruit, and spice box presented in a medium to full-bodied, graceful style. With abundant sweetness from its glycerin and alcohol, this 1997 is best drunk over the next 5-6 years. No known American importer.
