The Cuvee Genestres reveals gobs of black cassis fruit, along with cherries, herbs, and earth notes. Medium to full-bodied, with excellent definition, and a spicy, peppery, long finish, it should drink well for 4-5 years. This wine was tasted between June 1 and June 16, 1996.
