Revealing fabulous aromas of deep candied fruit with a distinct spicy and slightly oaky feature, the Puligny Montrachet Champ Canet possesses a thick-textured mouth packed with concentrated and slightly leesy, fat fruits, and toasted hazelnuts. My tendency would be to drink this wine within 8 years or so to enjoy its decadent sultry aspects. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
