Some Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) was co-fermented in the 2004 Sangiovese, which was produced entirely from estate vineyards (both Mill Creek Upland and Seven Hills Vineyards). Sporting a nose of sweet roses, plums, and black cherries, this medium to full-bodied wine is packed with dark cherries, blackberries, and candied cassis. An engaging, concentrated effort, it should be enjoyed over the next 5 years.
