The outstanding 1990 Chianti Rufina Riserva Bucerchiale is a backward, but profound example of Chianti at its finest. The wine exhibits a dense, opaque, garnet/ruby color, and a huge nose of roasted herbs, nuts, and sweet black-cherries intertwined with scents of licorice and earth.
