The limited production (200 cases) cuvee of 1999 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain comes from a young vineyard planted at an elevation of 1,800 feet. It possesses a tart, high acid, provocative bouquet of berry fruit, raspberries, cola, minerals, and flowers. Although tartness compresses the wine's texture, it is loaded, rich, and pure. Patience will be required. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2013.
