Plenty of concentration is evident in the 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape. It is a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre. The deep ruby-colored 2000 exhibits a moderately intense bouquet of blackberries, cherries, and spice. Medium to full-bodied, open-knit, and accessible, with light to moderate tannin in the finish, it will be at its best between 2003-2012.
