The 2016 Los Cantos de Torremilanos is 95% Tempranillo and 5% Merlot from younger trellised vines. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in 225-liter oak barrels for 16 months and has a clean nose with berry fruit and some spices, with nicely integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, and the tannins are fine, slightly dusty. 90,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2019.
