Less than 5 grams per litre of residual sugar. This intriguing wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Muller Thurgau. The nose of this wine is a little dominated by cedar and vanilla from time in oak though this is supported by plenty of intense tropical fruit (pineapple and guava) aromas and a hint of honeysuckle. The palate is dry, full bodied and concentrated, filling the mouth with spicy fruit. Medium to high acidity provides ample freshness. Long finish. Drink now – 2010. Tasted October 2008.
