Produced from both Dijon and old Pommard clones, the 2002 Pinot Noir Cuvee Alyce (522 cases) reveals a deep ruby color in addition to spicy, sweet cherry, pomegranate, raspberry, plum, and forest floor characteristics. Firm, hard tannin in the finish were a bit of a shock given the aromatics, attack, and mid-palate. I suspect they will age out, but only time will tell. Tel. (707) 525-3614; Fax (707) 528-1310
