A pretty, elegant, medium-bodied Hermitage is Ferraton's 2004 Hermitage le Meal Estate. Still youthful and fresh, it offers lots of minerality, dried flowers, cured meats and sweet Syrah fruit on the nose. Drinking nicely today, with high, yet nicely integrated acidity, and plenty of charm, I'd drink bottles over the coming 5-6 years, but suspect it will evolve for longer.
