The 2012 Barolo Conca (from La Morra) is a dense and muscular wine that veers toward higher power and extract on the Nebbiolo continuum. The bouquet delivers dense tones of black fruit, toasted coffee, dried cassis and leather. Given the robust nature of those aromas, I would recommend this mid-weight wine for near or medium-term drinking.
