This bottle is fitted with a red wax seal. The 2012 Barolo is a nicely harmonious expression with mild tones of red cherry, berry and grilled herb. There is some bitterness in terms of mouthfeel that suggests uneven ripening of fruit in this dry and very hot growing season.
