The 2006 Seven Hills Vineyard is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc aged for 18 months in 51% new French oak. It exhibits an enticing bouquet of pain grille, spice box, graphite, mineral, black currant, and blackberry. Medium-bodied, relatively forward, and elegant, it has excellent depth of flavor, impeccable balance, and a lengthy, pure finish. Give it 1-2 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2011 to 2021.
